Rawr~ hey guys! xD ahem. Sorry I enjoy being lame. It’s one of the things I’m actually good at, along with eating and sleeping. ^_^;;
Anyway I wanted to rant a bit about my Friday night! Which was awesome of course! Well overall I would say awesome! xD
I occupied the lovely Lady Lyn Taing to the Melbourne High Secondary College aka MHS Formal! I got home at 4 o’clock and rolled into bed to lie down for a bit. my sister found me defenceless and started to tickle me. . . that cruel cruel child D: so yeh we had a tickle fight for like half an hour. then i realised...ZOMG FORMAL! *runs off to shower*
yeh...i had to wear that REALLY uncomfortable bra again. like WTH not AGAIN. i had to wear the hollywood tape where it's in the most RANDOM places...like u'd be like EWWWWWWWWW if you found out... >_________<;;
So after showering I was desperately trying to dry my hair and moisturise and apply foundation all at the same time! YAY! When suddenly out from the darkness emerged a holy light. Into the bathroom stepped…MY MOTHER!! Hooray for mummies! While she did my hair I did all the basic makeup CRAP. I swear I have no idea while women subject themselves to this EVERY SINGLE DAY… OMG. I only do it about once/twice every year and already I’m dying from it. TT____________TT I pity career women who have to LOOK good, be SMART, and look after their HOMES. I just found a whole new respect for those women. Oh gad.
Well anyway. Once getting all dressed up in my lovely navy puffy ordeal of a dress…I sat around trying to breathe waiting for Lyn and her entourage to come pick me up. At this point it was already about 5:30… and we were meant to leave home at 5:30 in order to get to the Grand Hyatt at 630. but…lyn the fashionably late one, arrived at around 6:00. um. Okies. That’s still cool. We get to be fashionably late! :]
The traffic was hell.
Seriously that is all I need to say about the trip. Apart from the death defying driving of Lyn’s sister, Sue. Damn it guys…she should be in “The fast and the furious: Tokyo Drift” I’m telling you she WAS that good…even better! Since it was real life. Omg her driving skills along with the compulsive swearing and large choice of insults were amazing…I think some of the words rubbed off on me! xD but it was one awesome car trip. ^_^;;
So we got there at about 7:00. it was still good since apparently the pre-dinner drinks were being served. (I’m sorry I have no IDEA WTF pre-dinner drinks are. Apparently people stand around making small talk looking elegant with champagne? Glasses in their hands…I’ve never really been to any functions with PRE-DINNER drinks…sounds glamorous no? well I missed out. Boo hoo.) we went through the dodgy side entrance and got kinda lost. Like seriously that place is HUGE. It leaves one feeling quite petrified and out of place. Until…out from the BOWELS OF THE EARTH submerge lyn’s date, the former Sir Alan Ooi now known as the Alan turned MHS gay, and my partner Sir William Hehe? He? Looking very selfconscious.
[side note: no offence will but your tie wasn’t a very good attempt at matching with my dress…I few dots of navy on a GOLD TIE does not count as matching! If you took a closer look at the
Huy and Katherine? Couple …NOW THAT WAS MATCHING! The guy wore a GOLD SHIRT AND TIE…like omg. Hey maybe you wanted to be Huy’s partner’s partner? D: omg what SUBTLETY! D: hahaha I’m just enjoying giving you shit ;) ]
Alan and will led us to out divine table…it was awesome…seriously the place was like…ZOMG. The theme was apparently “Winter Wonderland” and the tables had these little fake dead trees with little twinkly lights in them, it was so pretty! Anyway I sat between Lyn and Will. When we got there the first course was already served, which was the Caesar Salad with bacon bits, lettuce, anchovies and fried bread…you call that an ENTREE??!?!
What happened to my oysters!! What about my ABALONE D: AND MUSSELS!! T_T but it was all still good.
Anyway I’ll skip all the boring bits and get straight to when we met the rest of the GWSC girls and former GWSC guys.
Lyn and Alan
were obviously the first ones up! Lyn looked divinely HOT in her dark metallic green dress that kinda looked like a swimsuit. She had really nice straightened and the most OMG ring! xD Alan got her a corsage? (flower thing on hand) and she got him an apple…yes I was WTH…0_____________. Will just got me CD’s xD I mean OMG WILL GOT ME CDS!! *squeal* so yeh. xD nah I really do like my CD’s! *nods quickly*
There was ALICE and EDWARD

Alice looked divine darlings! Seriously. She was the only one wearing brown boots and a very slinky green/light red dress with the cutest green ribbon as a choker!
Then came ELLIOTT and his PARTNER.
I don’t even remember her name…but I can tell you she was REALLY PRETTY. Like ZOMG STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING HOT. She had a red dress on, her hair was really long and was curled and done partly up with the prettiest tiara. She looked like a princess! D: Elliott wore red suspenders to match her dress…like…um…okies. I actually didn’t recognise Elliott when he first approached me…I was like…you look really familiar…hmmm…(I blame my contacts, they were 2.75 while my glasses are 3.15) then I think alice or Edward called out that it was ELLIOTT…I was like ZOMG. It’s ELLIOTT! xD I felt like a Noob. He called me lost =_= what a great reunion. Forget feeling elegant. Bleh.
Next was NATALIE and Jason! I don’t really know Jason…but he wore a suit? xD well Nat looked HOT too! She had a green dress on with some nice golden jewelry! Yay!
Then came AMELIA and her random partner. Apparently he is the vice-captain of the school or some crap like that. 0_0 I did not expect to see Amelia! xD but it was awesome except I didn’t get to take any photos with her! NOOOOOOOOOO!
Then appeared YIZHOU and her partner (I think he was TALL >_>) She looked REALLY hot too! xD she had on a green dress and REALLY nice green makeup! Her partner even got her a corsage? The flower thingy!
Then was Jasmine and Huang? Wow guys! Jas looked SOOOOOOOOOO pretty! D: with her hair all done up with massive curls! Wow…
Then I ran into grace at the restrooms! She and her partner Martin were like the cutest couple! Martin was actually a nominee for tankest guy! So if you see her remember to ask what he was like! ;)
Then there were my other random MHS friends like BEN TRAN! Octopus hair man and his friend Barbie ^_^ Tim Ma with his VERY hot partner! I dunno her name =/
There was a whole lot of other random guys who were Will friends…Will tells me it’s apparently a custom at MHS to grab your friends in inappropriate areas…I think alan saw my shocked face and said that dw the guys weren’t gay he had a GF. I was like…ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm it’s not that I’m scared that they’re gay…it’s just the whole…grabbing another guys ass and pulling at other inappropriate areas thing @______________@
Well there were a whole lot of other awards stuffies like:

So it was a more event based formal than a dancing formal. :] I got to dance one dance with my partner but then his REALLY random friends kinda jumped by and started grabbing him again @___________@ (what the hell is with these guys!! Really guys if you’re thinking to sending your future kids to MHS THINK AGAIN!) so I tried to sneak off…I just didn’t wanna burst out laughing and destroy their little male reunion thing. HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA
OMG I nearly FORGOT! There was a chocolate fountain!
SERIOUSLY! they had marshmallows out with skewers and a machine that spewed chocolate out! It was so cool! TT___________TT I want my own private machine.
Oh yeh Will and I had a food race. Well eating race. But Will didn’t give it a fair fight!! It’s so not fair! He already ate before the formal! So he didn’t put 100% into it! YOU OFFEND ME! Grrrr. Will also managed to ditch me like halfway through the night.,. THANKS A LOT WILL!! *kicks* I ended up wandering back to my table and sitting there for a bit. I kinda fell asleep there for like 10 mins? And when I woke up the waiter was looking at me strangely so I felt compelled to move. Then I walked to the dance floor and found Alice then Lyn and Natalie dancing :] I stayed there til like the last dance ^^ omg. MHS guys doing the Macarena… I have never seen a more confused bunch of guys attempting the Macarena! D: there were NO ROWS. There was *shock horror* a group of guys doing the Macarena in god forbid a CIRCLE. How the hell are the meant to clap and turn around…T_T save us from MHS logic…
But apart from the random ness of the evening it was fun :] omg I ended up going home without saying Bye of Thanks to Will!! TT_______________TT sorry. Really sorry. But you ditched me FIRST! So BLEH. You deserved not hearing my thanks! Men are lame. The end. xD
Jkjk well now he owes me dumplings! I WANT MY DUMPLINGS! Don’t think I’ll forget this…grrrrrrrrrrr…
I leeched a ride off Edward! FTW! Omg the surround sound in his car is like AWESOME…OMG… we watched a CHER concert in the car ^_________^ his car is a black Holden Statesmen. It was pretty. I want one. ^__________^ someone buy me one. xD
So conclusion: it was fun. But I did miss our formal. I missed all my friends and getting to hang out with them. =/
